Cooling Modifications

  • Modded Akasa windowed side panel. Replaced acrylic window with black Hexx mesh and mounted 220mm Akasa fan blowing air onto mobo.

  • Cut and drilled top panel for a 120.2 mesh rad grill.
Rad is not attached to grill, grill sits just above the rad so the fans can exhaust warm air up out of the case.
Cut hole in PSU mounting tray for barbs of 120.2 rad to poke down through into main case compartment.

  • Removed modular main HDD cage to mount 120.1 rad on the front fan inlet.

  • Modified and used the secondary Eclipse HDD cage to house my HDD's and mounted with velcro strips alongside the 120.1 rad.

  • Drilled 4 holes in mobo tray for the screw heads on the CPU block mounting screws to poke through.

  • Mirror panel fitted in base of case.
