BFG shipping GTX 280 with H20C ThermoIntelligence (AKA Dangerden) blocks

Dangerden and BFG tech have teamed up to create what is being touted as the fastest commercially available Nvidia Geforce GTX 280. By fitting a Dangerden GTX280 waterblock that we reported on here, BFG have raised the core clock to 680MHz from 602MHz, shader clock to 1458MHz from 1296Mhz and the GDDR3 memory to 2450Mhz from 2214MHz. This is faster than the quickest air cooled card we could find which was the Asus GTX 280 TOP. The Dangerden block looks mighty impressive and with pre-clocked performance ready to plumb in, we can't argue with that (so long as there's a little headroom for tweaking a bit more yourself!).

Full details here and on the BFG tech news site here

The rather funky looking ThermoIntelligence website can be found, funnily enough at www.thermointelligence.com
