Installation

The backplate has 4 threaded holes, one on each arm which line up with the holes on a standard Socket 775 Motherboard. To make the installation simpler, the plate comes with an adhesive pad in the centre. This has two functions, firstly to insulate the plate from the back of the motherboard, and secondly to hold the plate in place while you screw the mount to it from the other side.

To mount the hold down onto the block itself you'll need to remove the four allen screws from the base of the block, essentially dismantling it.

Now line up the hold down bracket with the bottom of the block. Take care to ensure the block's several layers remain fixed as it's easy to dislodge the rubber seals inside which could lead to you're case become an ideal home for goldfish.
