7/4/08 Nvidia 9800 Reviews and Waterblocks With both of Nvidia's new high end 9 series cards released, waterblocks will surely follow... Custom PC have an article on Asetek's all in one solution for the 9800GTX and 9800GX2 as well as an excellent round up of early 9800GTX reviews
Image courtesy of Asetek.com Vadim meanwhile will soon have a 9800GTX cooling plate on the shelves compatible with their modular BlastFlow Siberian Rev2 waterblock. The 9800GX2 solution is slightly more complicated with two plates and additional copper block for the second GPU. They are also going to stock a complete kit for GX2 for a slightly eye-watering £140.98. Still the modular GPU block should be relatively future proof and performs very well. Aquacomputer are also getting in on the act with a 9800GX2 cooler.
Very reminiscent of 7950GX2 blocks but looks fantastic. It's a shame
that as with the Blastflow block, that the thread holes will be
facing the side of the case. The great thing about about EK blocks
is that you can still use straight barbs, even in SLI/Crossfire
setups.
