Latest news 07/07/08 Vadim goes into liquidation Vadim, one of the UK’s leading water-cooled PC builders has gone into liquidation. Vadim Chobanu, director of the company blamed the news on the economy and a financial deal falling through. Vadim contributed to Custom PC’s Dream PC competition in numerous years and even won it with the Cepheus. Vadim also have their own brand of waterblocks that we've previously reported on called Blastflow but these will apparently continue to be manufactured. More interestingly, production will be moved abroad to lower costs which should bring the blocks more in line cost-wise with those from EK and Dangerden. The block will appeal to those who dread having to remove graphics cards and having to drain the system – you only need to remove the block from the card as the block itself is universal. The demise of the company is sad news indeed we wish all employees the very best in their future endeavours. We’ll bring you news of the new Blastflow blocks as soon as we hear anything.
