XSPC release HD 4850 and 4870 full cover blocks

Ati have finally come up with the goods and with the HD4850 and HD4870 consistently the better options in their price brackets, we knew it wouldn't be long till compatible blocks were out in force! the HD38xx series Razor blocks were stunning, with great looks, low restriction and good performance. Like their predecessors, the HD48xx blocks from XSPC are also great value, more than £10 cheaper in some cases than their EK equivalents.

As we've previously reported, the HD4800 series has a major heat issue. Standard HSF's have their fan speeds locked so ridiculously low that overclocking can be severely hindered while the card becomes red hot. Silence at a cost, and it's amazing stability hasn't been a major issue although it remains to be seen if the card's life spans are effected.  Forget switching the central heating on this winter, just buy an HD4800!!! Or you could get on of XSPC's new full cover waterblocks from watercoolinguk - 4870 here and 4850 here. Just make sure you're card is a reference card though...
